Man critical after being beaten in Crescentville

CRESCENTVILLE (WPVI) -- Philadelphia police say a man is in critical condition after being beaten by three men in the city's Cresentville section.

It happened after 6:30 p.m. Friday in the parking lot of a beer store in the 700 block of Adams Avenue.

Police say the victim is a Hispanic man and between the ages of 28 and 35.

There was no immediate word what may have led to the attack.

The man was taken to Albert Einstein Medical Center in critical condition.
