Man critical after stabbing in Parkside

Police say a man is in critical condition after a stabbing in the Parkside section of Philadelphia early Friday morning.

The stabbing occurred around 1:00 a.m. on West Thompson Street near 57th Street.

The victim was stabbed in the chest and buttocks.

He was rushed to the hospital in critical condition.

Police are searching for an unidentified woman who fled the scene.
