Man dies after being shot in the head in Strawberry Mansion

STRAWBERRY MANSION (WPVI) -- An unidentified man was shot in the head and killed in the Strawberry Mansion section of Philadelphia.

The incident happened before 1:30 a.m. Thursday near the intersection of North 29th and West Oakdale streets.

Police say the victim died at the scene.

Witnesses say they saw two men jump into a nearby car and drive off.

Police are investigating.
