Man fatally shot in car in Tioga-Nicetown

TIOGA-NICETOWN (WPVI) -- Authorities say a man was shot and killed while sitting in a car in Philadelphia's Tioga-Nicetown section.

It happened around 7:30 p.m. Friday night in the 1500 block of West Butler Street.

Police say the victim is a man in his 20s. He was taken to Temple University Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

No word on any suspects or a possible motive.
