Man found dead outside doughnut shop in Logan

LOGAN -- Philadelphia police are investigating the discovery of a man's body outside a Dunkin Donuts shop.

Police were called shortly after 6:30 Monday morning to the Dunkin Donuts located on the 4700 block of North Broad Street in the city's Logan section.

Arriving officers found the 39-year-old victim laying in the parking lot with a puncture wound to the chest.

At this time it is not clear if the wound is a gunshot wound or a stab wound.

Paramedics pronounced the man dead at the scene.

So far, no suspects or a motive have been named.
