Man hospitalized after shooting in Camden

CAMDEN, N.J. (WPVI) -- An unidentified man was found shot and wounded in Camden, New Jersey.

The shooting occurred before 2 a.m. Wednesday on Pierce Avenue near 36th Street.

Police rushed the victim to the hospital in critical condition.

Investigators focused their attention on a pair of sandals, and cell phone, found on the street.

So far, no word on suspects or a motive.
