ALSACE TWP., Pa. (WPVI) -- Police in Berks County are investigating a freak accident that killed a tree trimmer.

It happened outside a home off Rand Drive in Alsace Township.

Witnesses say Cecil "Terry" English was working more than 60 feet in the air on Wednesday when a tree branch fell onto his bucket, somehow trapping and choking him.

By the time the 61-year-old was brought down, he was unconscious.

Officials say English, who owned the tree trimming business, later died at the hospital.
