Officials say a man was rescued from a burning home in Philadelphia's Port Richmond section Saturday morning.
The blaze broke out just after 6:30 a.m. on the 3000 block of Frankford Avenue.
Firefighters say the 66-year-old victim was pulled from the second floor of the 3-story home.
He was taken to Temple University's burn center. So far, no word on his condition.
The fire was placed under control within a half hour.
The Red Cross arrived to assist the residents displaced.
The cause of the blaze has not been determined.
