Man shot 6 times in Strawberry Mansion, in critical condition

STRAWBERRY MANSION (WPVI) -- A man is hospitalized in critical condition after being shot six times in the Strawberry Mansion section of Philadelphia.

The shooting happened late Saturday morning in the 2400 block of West Lehigh Avenue.

Police say the victim drove himself to Temple University Hospital, and was found with five gunshot wounds to the back and one to the hip.

There was no immediate word on the circumstances of the shooting.

However, police said they were looking for four to five men in a black Dodge Ram 1500 pickup truck with chrome rails on the rear. The vehicle was last seen travelling westbound on Lehigh Avenue.
