The 39-year-old man who was fatally shot at close range inside a car in North Philadelphia has been identified.
The shooting happened around 1:30 a.m. Friday on the 2600 block of West Silver Street.
The victim, Jamal Connner, was shot in the head and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police say the gunman had fired seven shots at close range, right through the windshield.
No word on a motive or any suspects.
Homicide detectives are investigating.
