Police say a man was shot while getting into his car in Chester, Pennsylvania late Thursday night.

Police say a man was shot while getting out of his car in Chester, Pennsylvania late Thursday night.

The shooting happened around 12:30 a.m. on the 2600 block of Boyle Street.

According to police, Harold Medina, 21, was found partially inside the vehicle by the front driver's side door with a gunshot wound to the chest.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police believe Medina was walking from his car when he was ambushed.

There have been no arrests.
