Man shot dead in West Oak Lane

WEST OAK LANE (WPVI) -- One man is dead after a shooting in the West Oak Lane section of Philadelphia.

Officers responded to 911 calls after 12:30 a.m. Sunday.

They arrived to find a man in his 20s lying on a sidewalk in the 7100 block of North 20th Street.

He had been shot in the face.

Police are working to determine who shot the man and why.
