Man shot in the chest in Wilmington

WILMINGTON, Del. (WPVI) -- Authorities say a shooting in Wilmington sent one person to the hospital in critical condition.

It happened around 12:30 Sunday morning on the 700 block of East 28th Street.

Police say the male victim was shot in the chest. He was taken to Christiana Hospital in critical condition.

No word yet what sparked the shooting.
