Man shot, robbed in North Philadelphia

NORTH PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Police are investigating a shooting and robbery in North Philadelphia.

It happened around 1:00 p.m. Sunday at 8th and Clearfield streets.

Police say a person was shot in the leg and robbed.

The 65-year-old male victim tells police that the bandits made off with his luggage.

He was transported to Temple University Hospital.

No other details have been released.
