Man sought in South Philadelphia Dunkin Donuts robbery

SOUTH PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Police are asking for the public's help in their search for a man wanted for the robbery of a South Philadelphia Dunkin Donuts store.

It happened at 6:45 a.m. Saturday at the Dunkin Donuts located at 1551 Washington Avenue.

Police say the suspect entered the store and asked an employee behind the counter if he could speak with him.

When the employee walked from behind the counter and was speaking to the suspect he lifted his shirt showed a handgun in his waist band and then demanded money.

The employee gave the suspect an unknown amount of money. The suspect then fled the store.

The suspect is described as a black male, mid-40s, 6'2, 230 pounds, facial hair, a tattoo on his neck, wearing a black leather jacket and a black skull hat.
