Man stabbed during barber shop robbery in Chestnut Hill

Philadelphia police are looking for three suspects who stabbed a man during a robbery inside a barber shop in the city's Chestnut Hill neighborhood.

CHESTNUT HILL (WPVI) -- Philadelphia police are looking for three masked suspects who stabbed a customer inside a barber shop during a robbery in the city's Chestnut Hill neighborhood on Saturday night.

The trio were caught on surveillance entering Sharpie's Barber Shop on the 8100 block of Stenton Avenue shortly after 6 p.m.

One of the suspects pointed a knife at an employee and demanded money.

The suspects stole a laptop and nearly $100 from several customers inside.

One customer tried to fight back and was stabbed in the back by one of the thieves.

The robbers then fled on foot and were last seen heading east on East Mt. Pleasant Avenue.

The first suspect is described as a Latino or Asian male, stocky build, wearing a dark colored hooded sweatshirt, dark colored pants, and a white mask covering his face.

The second suspect is described as a Black male, dark complected, 5'2, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, dark colored pants, and a white mask covering his face.

The third suspect is described as a Black male, dark complected, 5'7-5'8, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, dark colored pants, and a white mask covering his face.
