Man stabbed inside Point Breeze house

POINT BREEZE (WPVI) -- Police say an unidentified man was stabbed several times inside a house in Philadelphia's Point Breeze section early Tuesday morning.

The incident happened around 1:15 a.m. on the 1900 block of Tasker Street.

According to police, the victim was stabbed multiple times in the back.

Officers rushed him to the hospital. He is listed in stable condition.

A suspect was apprehended near the scene.

Police have not said what sparked the attack.
