Police are looking for the suspect who stole sneakers from a store in Chestnut Hill.

CHESTNUT HILL (WPVI) -- Philadelphia police are searching for a suspect who stole three boxes of Nike sneakers from a Chestnut Hill Store.

It happened around 7:05 p.m. Friday at the Chestnut Hill Sports store on the 8600 block of Germantown Avenue.

Police say the man entered the store and asked about sneakers.

After several minutes inside the store, police say the suspect grabbed three boxes of sneakers valued at $270 and then fled.

He is described as a white male, 6'1, 36 to 39 years old, with a thin build, brown hair, wearing a light gray t-shirt, light brown cargo shorts, and carrying a dark colored backpack.
