Man struck and killed in Burlington City

BURLINGTON CITY, N.J. (WPVI) -- New Jersey State Police are investing a fatal accident in Burlington City.

The accident occurred around 5:30 a.m. Sunday on Route 130.

Police on the scene tell Action News a male in his 40s was crossing Route 130 just south of Logan Avenue when he was struck by a vehicle.

The male was pronounced dead on scene.

The female driver of the striking vehicle was transported to Lourdes Hospital in Willingboro for cuts on her face.

Route 130 South remains closed as the investigation continues.
