Man struck by SEPTA trolley in Mantua

MANTUA (WPVI) -- A man was struck by a SEPTA trolley in Philadelphia's Manuta section.

It happened around 9:00 p.m. along the 4000 block of Lancaster Avenue.

Initial reports indicate that the man was walking on the tracks when he was struck by a Route 10 trolley.

The victim was taken to an area hospital in critical condition.

The Route 10 trolley runs from 13th and Market streets in Center City to 63rd and Malvern streets.

Police are investigating.
