Man struck, critically injured on Main in Manayunk section of Philadelphia

MANAYUNK (WPVI) -- A car struck a man in the Manayunk section of Philadelphia, leaving him in critical condition.

It happened on the 4100 block of Main Street at 2 a.m. Friday.

The victim was pinned underneath the vehicle for a short time.

Rescue crews freed him and rushed him to Einstein Medical Center.

The driver remained on the scene.

Accident investigators are working to determine what led to the incident.
