Police are trying to identify the man who stole thousands of dollars worth of groceries from a Philadelphia Whole Foods store.

SOUTH STREET (WPVI) -- Philadelphia Police are looking for the man who they say stole meat and seafood from the Whole Foods store on South Street.

The first incident happened on March 8th at 9:30 a.m. at the location on the 900 block of South Street.

The suspect, who was wearing a hat, walked up to meat counter and filled his basket with several packages of meat.

He then allegedly put the items in his own bag and walked out without paying.

The same man struck again twice on March 15th. Police say he walked up to the meat counter around 10 a.m. and put several packages of meat in his bag and walked out.

Authorities say the suspect returned around 6:45 that evening. But this time, he allegedly took several items from the seafood counter, put them in a bag and walked out.

Store officials say the suspect took nearly a $1,000 in products.
