Man wanted for attempted barber shop burglary

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- He may have been dressed like Superman, but police say a man caught on camera in South Philadelphia was no hero.

They say he tried to rob a barber shop on the 2600 block of South Sartain Street.

It happened around 1:00 a.m. back on April 27th.

The man tried to get the locks off the front door for a few minutes, but he was eventually scared off and ran away without taking anything.

Police are asking anyone with information to call them.
