Man wounded in drive-by shooting in North Philadelphia

Police say a man was wounded in a drive-by shooting in North Philadelphia late Tuesday night.

The incident occurred around 11:45 p.m. on the 2300 block of North 17th Street.

The 36-year-old victim told police that he was on the corner waiting for a bus when he was shot in the face.

He managed to run a block and officers rushed him to the hospital.

He is listed in critical but stable condition.

The car fled the scene and is described as a silver car with tinted windows.
