Mayor Nutter honors city's newest champions

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. (WPVI) -- Mayor Michael Nutter honored the city's newest champions Monday.

A team from the Philly Youth Poetry Movement won the Brave New Voices International Youth Poetry Slam Festival.

The competition was held in Atlanta the weekend of July 19th.

This is the third championship for a team from P-Y-P-M.

The Brave New Voices Festival started in 2006.
