Molotov cocktail thrown at home in Germantown

GERMANTOWN (WPVI) -- Authorities are looking for an arsonist after a Molotov cocktail was thrown at a home in Philadelphia's Germantown section overnight.

It happened along the 1000 block of Dorest Street.

A 70-year-old man was inside his home when the Molotov cocktail was thrown, hitting one of the windows of his home.

Fortunately, the window did not break, but an outside portion of the home was damaged by fire.

A neighbor tells Action News the family just moved into the home from South Carolina a few weeks ago.

The suspect remains at large.
