Motorcyclist killed in Middletown, Delaware crash

MIDDLETOWN, Del. (WPVI) -- Police in Middletown, Delaware are investigating a fatal crash involving a motorcycle.

It happened at 1:25 p.m. Wednesday at Old School House and Summit Bridge roads.

Police say the motorcycle rider died before they could get him to the hospital

They have not disclosed the victim's name or released details as to what caused the wreck.

Both northbound and southbound lanes of Summit Bridge Road between Boyd's Corner Road and Armstrong Corner Road were closed while authorities conducted their investigation.
