Multi-alarm blaze destroys home in Kennett Square, Pa.

KENNETT SQUARE, Pa. (WPVI) -- A multi-alarm fire has destroyed a home in Chester County.

The blaze broke out at 6:00 a.m. Thursday in the 400 block of Red Clay Drive in Kennett Square.

Firefighters arrived to find heavy fire throughout home.

Water tankers from surrounding towns were brought in to help fight the blaze.

The fire spread to the roof before crews were able to put it under control.

There were no immediate reports of injuries.
