Officials say a cooking mishap appears to be the cause of a multi-alarm house fire in Millville, Cumberland County.

MILLVILLE, N.J. (WPVI) -- Officials say a cooking mishap appears to be the cause of a multi-alarm house fire in Millville, Cumberland County.

The fire was first reported at 10:15 a.m. Thursday in the 300 block of G Street and quickly went to three alarms.

Images from Chopper 6 HD shown on 6abc at 11:35 a.m. showed flames and heavy smoke coming from several sections of the roof.

No injuries were reported.

However three families were displaced and are being assisted with things such as food, clothing and temporary lodging.

The fire was brought under control at 1:00 p.m.

Investigators say the blaze appears to have started accidentally.
