NEW CASTLE, Del. (WPVI) -- Officials in Delaware have broken ground on a new library.
The Route 9 Library is going up on New Castle Avenue in New Castle.
It will feature a special sensory room, which uses solar projections and special acoustic technology to help during story time with autistic children.
Governor Jack Markell was among those on hand for today's ceremony.
He talked about the importance of libraries and called them the centers of communities.
