Officers hurt during scuffle with suspect in Frankford section of Philadelphia

FRANKFORD (WPVI) -- Two Philadelphia police officers suffered minor injuries during a struggle with a suspect in the city's Frankford section.

Police pulled over a car in the 1400 block of Unity Street late Sunday night.

They say they found drugs in the vehicle.

At some point, there was a scuffle and the officers called for backup.

They suffered what were described as minor scrapes and bruises before the suspect was taken into custody.
