VIDEO: Officials vote to keep cross on Lehigh County seal
Officials voted unanimously to keep the cross on Lehigh County's official seal.

The cross will stay on Lehigh County's official seal.

The county's nine commissioners voted unanimously on Wednesday night.

A group called the Freedom From Religion Foundations threatened a lawsuit, calling its use unconstitutional.

The commissioners reasoned that the cross on the seal "has the secular purpose of recognizing the history of the county."
