A 47-year-old man was burned in a fast-moving fire in Philadelphia's Olney section.

OLNEY (WPVI) -- A 47-year-old man was burned and two dogs injured in a fast-moving fire in Philadelphia's Olney section.

Flames broke out before 3:00 a.m. Wednesday on the 500 block of Geneva Avenue.

The fire spread from the rear of the row home to the second floor.

The victim was rushed to Einstein Medical Center with burns to his hands. He also suffered smoke inhalation.

Two dogs were also hurt in the blaze. Both needed treatment, and one was given oxygen.

So far, there is no word on what sparked the blaze.
