CARLISLE, Pa. -- A central Pennsylvania man who was airlifted to a hospital by helicopter after he was injured by a boat's propeller is said to be in good condition.

Police say Jonathan Hittie of Carlisle was injured Saturday while water skiing on Conodoguniet Creek after the operator of the boat turned to pick him up and Hittie went under the boat.

Vickie Hudson, a spokeswoman for the Penn State Hershey Medical Center, said Hittie was listed in good condition Monday.

Details including the extent of Hittie's injuries and his age remained unclear Monday.

A spokesman for the state Fish & Boat Commission did not immediately return a call seeking information about the incident.
