DUNCANNON, Pa. (WPVI) -- A central Pennsylvania mom is calling two state troopers her heroes after they helped deliver her baby at a gas station.

Trooper Mark Fisher had just gotten off his shift late Tuesday when he spotted the woman's car.

Miranda Eaton was having strong contractions and quickly going into labor.

Another trooper showed up and they tried to escort Eaton and those with her to the hospital, but the baby had other plans.

They pulled over to a Sheetz parking lot.

"It was three pushes and she was out," Miranda said.

Trooper Fisher says, "I cleared the airways with my fingers and started to rub her chest, and the baby started crying."

And Miranda and giving all the credit to Trooper Fisher, saying, "We pretty much say he's the hero right now for her."

Mom and baby Arabella are doing well.

The doctors hailed the troopers for improvising the medical equipment during the gas station delivery.
