Pedestrian struck and killed in Gloucester County

FRANKLIN TWP., N.J. (WPVI) -- Gloucester County officials are investigating after a pedestrian was struck and killed in Franklin Township.

It happened around 8:45 p.m. Wednesday on Route 40 near Main Road.

Officials say one person was struck and killed by a vehicle, which did stop at the scene.

Franklin Township police are investigating.
