A pedestrian is hospitalized after being struck by an Amtrak train in Croydon, Bucks County.

CROYDON, Pa. -- A pedestrian is hospitalized after being struck by an Amtrak train in Croydon, Bucks County.

It happened around 6:40 p.m. Thursday near Franklin Street.

Police say a male was struck by Amtrak Train #193 near the train station.

The victim was taken to Aria-Torresdale Hospital.

No word on his condition at this time.

The train was headed to Washington, D.C., from New York.
