Pedestrian struck in Delco hit-and-run

PROSPECT PARK, Pa. (WPVI) -- A pedestrian was struck in a hit-and-run accident in Prospect Park, Delaware County.

It happened just before 1030 p.m. Tuesday on Chester Pike and Route 420.

One person was struck by a vehicle.

The striking vehicle reportedly fled, but the driver was apprehended a short time later by police.

There is no word on the victim's condition.
