Pedestrian struck, killed by car in Langhorne

LANGHORNE, Pa. (WPVI) -- Bucks County authorities are investigating an accident in which a pedestrian was struck and killed by a car in Langhorne Saturday night.

The accident was reported just before 9:30 p.m. on Business Route 1 near Woodbourne Road.

Police say it was there that the pedestrian was struck.

The striking vehicle did stop at the scene.

Middletown Police are investigating the circumstances that led to the accident.

The victim's identity has not been released.
