Pedestrian struck, seriously injured in Chester

CHESTER, Pa. (WPVI) -- Police say a pedestrian has suffered serious injuries after being struck by vehicle in Chester.

It happened at 7:30 a.m. Tuesday at the intersection of West 9th and Hayes streets.

Chester Police and medics have been called to the scene.

There was no immediate word what led to the incident.
