The accident happened between 6:35 and 6:45 p.m. Thursday in the 4100 block of Bristol Pike.

Police say 32-year-old Melissa Rasiul was behind the wheel of a 2003 GMC pickup truck when she struck a male pedestrian and fled the scene.

Investigators say she was driving with a suspended license at the time.
