Person rescued from roof during Logan fire

LOGAN (WPVI) -- A person was rescued from the roof of a burning home in the Logan section of Philadelphia.

The fire was reported around 6:50 a.m. Sunday in the 1600 block of West Louden Street.

Rescuers arrived to find flames shooting from the building and a person trapped on the roof.

Police and neighbors helped that person get down.

Firefighters were able to get the blaze under control within 20 minutes.

There was no immediate word on any injuries.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
