City councilwomen are calling for the termination of three prosecutors following disclosures they sent or received pornographic emails while working for state AG's office.

PHILADELPHIA -- Philadelphia's city councilwomen are calling for the termination of three prosecutors following disclosures that they sent or received pornographic emails while working for the state attorney general's office.

The councilwomen held a news conference Thursday with the city's chapter of the National Organization for Women denouncing what they call "the misogynistic and racist emails sent on state-owned computers."

They say assistant district attorneys Frank Fina, Marc Costanzo and Patrick Blessington should be fired for their involvement.

The emails were part of documents unsealed in Attorney General Kathleen Kane's effort to show that Fina and Costanzo concocted an investigation into her last year because she was threatening to publicize the pornographic email exchanges.

District Attorney Seth Williams says he understands the councilwomen's concerns and the three prosecutors have been disciplined.
