A Philadelphia police officer was injured in a crash.

GERMANTOWN (WPVI) -- A Philadelphia police officer was injured after being involved in a collision in Germantown.

The crash occurred around 11 a.m. Thursday near the intersection of Germantown Avenue and Price Street.

Police say the 14th District officer was responding to a priority assignment when he was struck by a vehicle.

The officer was transported to Einstein Medical Center and is in stable condition.

The female driver of the striking vehicle was also taken to Einstein. Her condition is unknown.
