13-year-old girl missing from West Philadelphia found safe

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Philadelphia police say a 13-year-old girl who went missing in West Philadelphia Monday has been found safe.

Hanniya Mitchell disappeared after she left her home Monday morning on the 400 block of South 62nd Street.

Investigators say she attends Bryant Elementary School in West Philadelphia, but she never showed up.

She was finally located sometime before Wednesday morning.

No further details were given.
