Philadelphia Police seek suspect wanted for 2 store burglaries

SOUTH PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Police are looking for one man wanted for two store burglaries in South Philadelphia.

Surveillance video shows the suspect breaking into Rita's Water Ice at 1901 Oregon Avenue on June 15th.

Police say the burglar rummages through the store, forces open the cash registers, then flees north on 19th Street.

Investigators think the same man targeted the Oriental Chinese Restaurant at 1801 South Broad Street.

Police say the man removed the cylinders from the door locks to gain entrance to the restaurant on June 21st.

The suspect again forces open the registers and runs off with cash.
