Pizza robbery suspect to employee: Sorry if you get fired

Police are searching for the suspect in a robbery of a Little Caesar's.

WEST OAK LANE -- Police are searching for a male suspect who robbed a Little Caesar's Pizza shop.

The robbery happened around 12:15 p.m. Tuesday on the 7100 block of Ogontz Avenue in West Oak Lane.

Police say an employee was at the register when the suspect walked in and placed a note on the counter that read: "Put the money in a bag."

The suspect then placed his hands in his pockets.

Police say he told the employee, "Ring up a pizza to open the drawer."

The cashier handed the suspect approximately $250.

While exiting the Little Caesar's, police say the suspect told the employee, "Sorry if you get fired. Be safe out there."

The suspect placed the note back in his pocket and fled southbound on Ogontz.

He is described a black male, 25 to 26 years old, 5'4, light complexion, with facial hair, and wearing a dark blue hoodie and dark jeans.
