Police are looking for the suspects wanted for stealing 19 firearms from a gun shop in Collingdale, Delaware County.

There is now a $2,500 reward for information that leads to an arrest and conviction after a gun shop burglary in Collingdale, Delaware County.

A total of 19 guns were stolen.

Collingdale Police say the money is being offered by both their department and the business community.

The burglary happened around 4 a.m. Thursday at the Suburban Armory gun shop on the 1000 block of McDade Boulevard.

Grainy images show at least some of the burglars in action as they moved into the store. Two of the men are seen getting out of a maroon minivan parked up the block.

Then you see the suspects break and remove the front window of the store.

Another camera captured them placing the glass in a nearby parking lot.

The suspects then return to the waiting minivan at one point, perhaps spooked by a passing car.

The suspects go back to the store again, ransacking the place and making off with 19 firearms.

"Various revolvers, some glocks, semi-automatics, no ammunition was taken, I don't think they had time," said Chief Robert Adams, Collingdale Police.

"I got a phone call around 4 o'clock that somebody had broken in," said owner Joe Galiano.

Galliano arrived minutes later. He was relieved to see that the suspect didn't get to the AR-15's, rifles and shotguns that were secured to the wall - although they tried.

He says the damage left behind was extensive.

Cameras along McDade Boulevard show the vehicles fleeing the scene toward Darby Borough.

One vehicle is possibly a silver GM sedan and the other possibly a maroon Pontiac Montana with partial plate Y-Z.

"That's 19 weapons on the street that can kill somebody, that can harm somebody, that can rob, I mean, who knows whose hands they're in," said Chief Adams.

ATF investigators are looking for better surveillance footage of the suspects and their vehicles.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Collingdale Police at 610-586-0502, ATF at 1-800-ATF-GUNS or the Delaware County CID at 610-891-4700.
