Police: Boy, 10, used as bait to abduct boy, 6, in Ga.

MARIETTA, Ga. (WPVI) -- A 10-year-old boy may have been used as bait to try and abduct another child in Georgia.

A 6-year-old boy was riding his bike on Sunday in Marietta, when he was approached by the 10-year-old.

Police say the older child asked the younger child if he wanted to see his car.

When the 6-year-old refused the 10-year-old tried to drag the boy into the vehicle, where a man and a woman were waiting.

The 6-year-old got away and ran home.

The 6-year-old boy's mother says she is proud of him for fighting back and getting away.
