Burglar found hiding in CVS in Northeast Philadelphia is homeless man, police say

NORTHEAST PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A burglar caught stocking up inside a CVS store in Northeast Philadelphia is homeless, police say.

Officers responded to the CVS in the 10000 block of Bustleton Avenue after an alarm went off around midnight.

When officers arrived, they found the back door ajar and an intruder hiding in a 2nd floor storage area.

The suspect, described as a 20-year-old homeless man, was arrested without incident.

He faces burglary, trespassing and related charges.
